AN INSPIRED ENGINEER
I build things to understand how they work.
Software, Electronic, Systems, Networking, Embedded, I follow whatever makes me curious. I write about what I build and what I learn along the way.
adbtop shows CPU, memory, frames, network and battery of an Android app in your terminal. No root, nothing added to the app. This is how it works inside, and the bugs that made me stop trusting my own charts for a while.
I recorded all my keys and all the requests in one ChatGPT session. My first letter was sent after about 20 ms, then my draft was sent again every 45 seconds, and each request reserved a server for me for 60 seconds.
